Kalyani Motors Private Limited (“Kalyani Motors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Kalyani Motors True Value Dealers Platform (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you apply for access, log in, bid, manage awards and deals, top up Account Balance, or track RC follow-up. By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and business information

The Platform is intended for verified automobile dealers and partners. We may collect:

  • Name, company name, and contact person
  • Mobile number and email address
  • Business address, PIN code, and classification
  • PAN, GSTIN, and other tax identifiers you provide
  • Login credentials and identifiers assigned by Kalyani Motors
  • Application and onboarding status

1.2 KYC and documents

During onboarding you may upload identity and business documents (for example Aadhaar, PAN, GST, or other requested files) and related numbers. These are used only for verification, compliance, and account administration.

1.3 Auction, award, deal, and RC data

We process operational records such as:

  • Events you view or join, bids, and participation holds
  • Awards, accept / decline decisions, and payment breakdowns
  • Deal milestones, cancellation requests, and charges
  • RC transfer follow-up status and related notes
  • Notifications you receive (auction, award, payment, RC)

1.4 Account Balance and payments

When you add funds or pay through the Platform, we and our payment service partners may process:

  • Top-up amounts, holds, releases, booking debits, and charges
  • Payment method type, transaction references, and payment status
  • Processing charges, payer details where provided for the payment, and withdrawal or bank details you submit for payouts

Payment credentials entered at checkout are handled by the payment service used for that transaction. We store transaction metadata needed to credit your Account Balance, reconcile payments, and support disputes — not to sell payment data.

1.5 Permissions and device access

The Platform may use:

  • Internet access — to authenticate, load marketplace and bidding data, submit bids and award decisions, and communicate with payment and backend services.
  • Notifications — auction updates, award deadlines, payment and RC alerts.
  • File / camera access (when you choose) — only to capture or upload KYC and support documents you select. We do not access your photo library in the background.

We do not require:

  • Precise continuous location
  • Your full contact list
  • Microphone, SMS inbox, or call logs

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Review applications and complete KYC / membership checks.
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts.
  • Operate marketplace, live bidding, awards, deals, and RC tracking.
  • Process Account Balance top-ups, holds, charges, and withdrawals.
  • Send service notifications and support responses.
  • Prevent fraud, collusion, and unauthorized access.
  • Meet legal, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

3. Information Sharing

We may share information:

  • Within Kalyani Motors teams that operate auctions, finance, RC, and support.
  • With payment and banking partners to process deposits and payouts.
  • With IT / hosting providers who process data on our instructions.
  • When required by law, regulators, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of auctions.

Recipients are expected to protect the information consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

4. Data Retention

We retain information as needed to:

  • Operate your account and historical auction / deal records.
  • Reconcile payments, holds, and withdrawals.
  • Satisfy legal, tax, audit, and dispute requirements.

After access is revoked, records may be kept for the periods required by law or legitimate business need, then deleted or anonymized where practicable.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

No electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping login credentials confidential.
  • Not sharing your account.
  • Submitting accurate KYC and payment details, and reporting suspected unauthorized access promptly.
  • Using the Platform in line with the Terms and Conditions.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is for verified business users aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

8. Your Requests

Subject to law and our need to retain records for auctions, payments, and compliance, you may contact us to access, correct, or raise questions about your personal information.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. Changes take effect when published on this site or within the Platform.

Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
